Circe

I've wanted to create an image inspired by John William Waterhouse's 1892 painting Circe Invidiosa
for a long time now and everything finally came together just recently when I found the perfect model, location and wardrobe. Even the weather cooperated by providing a lovely and mysterious soft fog. 

I'm happy to announce I have a solo exhibition up at Urban Light Studios all this month so if  you're in the area I hope you'll stop in to check it out~

another beautiful image from my shoot with Maiah and Lis.  the sun was so bright even though it was early so we used a gold reflector to make it work for us.

the singing spheres

this is an image that I've had in my mind for a long time.  I tried to create it once before, but in a larger scaled shoot and it got away from me.  no worries, I finally got the opportunity to create my orbs image this summer with two wonderful and creative cohorts:  Maiah, an amazing musician whose career is really taking off and Lis, my girl with the golden touch in hair and make-up.  there are sooo many great shots from this shoot, just wait~   :)
