RAW Artists Showcase - tickets going fast!

Hi everyone!

 

just a bit of clarification for those kind enough to purchase tickets to my show next month....

 

 

Please forgive me as there seems to be a bit of confusion with ticket purchases.

Please remember to choose to support artist "Elle Hanley" in the drop down menu when purchasing your tickets. This is how I gain credit towards covering my booking fee with the venue. All tickets are the same price, $10.00 unless you don't order through this link and have to pay at the door, in which case tickets are $25.00.

I've been wainting to shoot something with this sculpture for a long time. I just love it's odd whimsicalness~ I felt it worked it's curious magic for this shot and played well against Samm's perfect anxious expression. it was so cold out that day. you can see the frost on the ground.

Hitchcock in the Park

I've been utterly inspired by the work of Alex Prager within the past several months and I wanted to create some images along similar lines. it took me a while to gather the perfect vintage wardrobe and prop purse but I finally pulled it all together and shot it with a great team last weekend. I really love shooting in the Olympic Sculpture Park and knew this was the perfect location for this shoot. The ultra modern buildings play against the retro-ness of her outfit and the theme so wonderfully. there will be a few more images to come from this shoot but I wanted to start with a classic "Birds" styled image just to set the proper suspensful tone for all the images.
