another from my visit to the Washington coast. I was hoping to find a large bleached piece of driftwood to stand in front of for this image but unfortunately there weren't that many giant pieces and they were all pushed up against the shore in a line after the last high tide so they were also hard to get to. this rock was pretty cool so I gave it a try. goose feathers courtesy of the flock at the lake by my house. and in case you were wondering who I take a lot of my photo adventures with it's this guy. always travel with a buddy. he's kind of a nut but he's also a good driver. ;) he also just got a new Canon and a bunch of new lens so you should check his stream out.

spent saturday at both Magnuson Park and the Arboretum snapping photos of dragonflies and snakes and duckies as well as everything that was in bloom. the weather was so lovely that I was able to wear my new summer dress. :) YAY SUMMER! I even managed to snap a couple of selfies. holga pics coming soon~

magnuson park & the arboretum

took a stroll through both Magnuson Park and the Arboretum today.  snapped a couple selfies as well as lots of photos of everything that is blooming right now as well as a bit of wildlife.  we saw dragonflies, frogs, snakes, birds, bugs, and a turtle!  the weather started out slightly foggy and cool but ended up almost muggy.  it was a good day to wear my new summer dress so I was happy.  here are some photos from the two parks, enjoy~

I wanted to so a selfie that was more like the ones I used to do. the ones that are simpler and easier to create. just clean. I also wanted to eat these rainier cherries that were in my fridge that I bought for a prop. :)
