another from the desert workshop. this image was great to begin with but I wanted to try and give it even more visual impact. I built out the canvas to square and added a cloudy, more interesting sky. I think I could do an even better job but I still like this. :)

I love this image so much, the pose is so bizarre and yet so natural. where is the other half of her? her face is so relaxed, her arms and fingertips. just perfect. Katie was such a joy to work with. so willing to help you get the perfect shot and so funny too~ :)

on a sad note, my Holga is dead. it won't take a proper photo anymore and I don't know how to fix it. I've got another trip in a couple of weeks and I really wanted my precious Holga. anyone have and extra BC135 or even a Diana they wanna sell me?

film shots from wanderlust!

I'm always excited to see my film shots, when I remember to take them that is, and I have to say even though it appears the film didn't wind properly I still got some awesome photos!  I can't say I actually know anything about shooting film.  I just enjoy my holga for the fun it gives me. and if any images come out well then I think I've done alright.  I really liked these images.

I spent last weekend in the desert with many fine people at the Brooke Shaden Lindsay Adler Workshop that was held in middle-of-the-desert, California. :) it was a blast and I learned a lot. Brooke covered fine art nudes while Lindsay taught us fashion photography. we shot all day long and I got a ton of good shots, it will take me quite a while to edit them all. I hope you like them. :D

I had drinks & noshes with my sis at the tuscan tearoom yesterday and posted pics on my blog what a beautiful little place it is!
