hi everyone! I just wanted to drop a short note to say thank you to those of you who take the time to comment on my blog. I truly appreciate it more than Ican say. :)

got to do some fashion photography today with lovely Maiah as the model and the talented Jamrlyn on hair and make-up. it was a blast, we went to the downtown library to play with the uber-modern backgrounds and even got told to please stop climbing on things. :) it was fun forming a team and making awesome photographs. more to come~
did anybody shop today, or are we all waiting for cyber monday?...

didn't do any of that black friday shopping thing like some others today. I went to visit Paul and then we checked out the giant goodwill down on dearborn street. they happened to be having a sale too and I got a vintage suitcase, a beaded top for the shoot I have tomorrow, a camelbak H2O bottle and a new dog toy for my sweet, sweet boy who is 3 years old today!! we are gonna have cake soon. well, I'm going to. Chai can have a bit of icecream. :)
anyways, then we checked out this little secret garden and found it glowing in autumn color. this purple pine caught my eye. so unusual.
fridays when you don't have to work are the best fridays. happy friday ya'll!

I was inspired by the gorgeous autumn trees that I passed on the way to work and I wished I could run up and tangle my hair in thier branches but, there is no more light left by the time I leave work now so I snapped a few shots of the maples around my office at lunch and...

I think these will become a series. I'll call them "the girl in the garden".
I had the opportunity to meet in person as well as photograph a friend of mine yesterday and we got to use a wonderful barn and and farm as the setting.
this is my lovely friend Lee posing for me inside the greenhouse, which was her idea by the way. there are so many great shots we got but these ones in the greehouse are my favorite. shooting through the hazy windows gives it such a lovely vintage quality. I barley touched this in editing. thank you Lee for being such a great model!!
