I'm so pleased with myself over these shoes. they were 6 bucks at a thrift store. :) they're also a size and a half too big for me :( but with some heel grippers and some sole grippers in there they fit nearly perfectly. :) woo hoo me!

I wanted the yummy bokeh from the 50mm lens but in order to get it high enough above me to get my entire self in frame I had to lean it on my deck railing and run down the back stairs to go and stand under it. :)
I'm kinda diggin' how the rhodies look like they're swirling around me~

sigh, spent my afternoon struggling over a trim and stability report done in excel. I hate excel, it always trips me up. came home to take this photo and tell excel how lame it is. had fun really vintaging it out. :) next I'll take care of a few things then I'm watching goofy thursay night tv till I fall asleep.

it's finally here! my new epiphanie camera bag has arrived and I don't have to struggle with a purse AND a camera bag any longer. wee! to be honest it's freaking giant! but, when it holds your camera gear, purse bits as well as laptop and battery cord, you can't blame it for being a big bag. the braided straps make it super comfy on tiny shoulders. :)
I'll be playing with my new purse, ya'll have a wonderful night~

celebrated my good friend Paul's birthday today. it's actually tomorrow but the weather was nice today so we grabbed lunch at Claim Jumpers and then looked at a million different kinds of japanese maples so I cold pick a new one for my deck. got lots of good food and maple pix. look for them on the blog real soon.

today was lame. the servers were down at work until the end of the day so I didn't get anything accomplished. I did however manage to dink around on flickr and facebook, thanks to all you who helped me pass the time today. :) on top of that I'm very frustrated with my job and desperately need a vacation. plus yesterday they let two more people go, one of which is the nicest grandfatherly type guy you'd ever wanna meet. sucks. I know I'm lucky to have a job in this economy but I'm really burn out on this.
I honestly felt horrible in this photo. my first sad girl pic. whatevs, I had a a good soak and then played with my my goofy pooch for a while. dinner and curl up in bed. I'll watch an episode of dexter since his serial killer voice relaxes the hell out of me.
